Overview

  • Ownership: 100% subject to Government right to a 10% free carried interest
  • Licence area: 241.6km2
  • Renewable exploration licence for iron ore (and other minerals, including gold)
  • Location: South Cameroon, 85km North-west of the Nkout project
  • Geology: Archaean age rocks with itabirite/banded iron formations
  • Airborne magnetics has defined multiple strong targets
  • Additional 3,500 line km of airborne geophysics completed Q1 2012
  • Rock sampling (7 samples) has shown iron percentages up to 67% with an average of 57%. Six of these samples were enriched Itabirite and one was Itabirite/BIF
  • Initial two-phase drilling programme expected to commence in 2013 on a priority basis
  • Proximal to existing rail line to port of Douala and to the proposed south Cameroon iron rail corridor
